Nadia Bjorlin was born the third of four children. Her parents Mats Ulf Stefan Björlin(Swedish conductor) and Fary Bjorlin (who had two children by a previous marriage). Although she was born in Newport, Rhode Island(USA) her family soon moved to Sweden. Due to a natural linguist gift and the travel required by her father she is fluent in Swedish, English, and Persian and can speak French, Russian, Italian, and Azerbaijani.
Nadia was a child prodigy who excelled in voice, theater, dance, and music. She started her professional career at six years old and won several awards while attending the Interlochen Center for the Arts and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute.
